Tripartite Negotiating Forum .

The Tripartite Negotiating Forum (TNF) is a platform established by the Tripartite Negotiating Forum Act of 2019 in Zimbabwe. It facilitates consultation, cooperation, and negotiation on social and economic issues between the government, organized business, and organized labor.

The TNF operates through three main structures: the Main TNF, the Technical Committee, and the Management Committee. Its key functions include negotiating over social and economic issues, submitting recommendations to the Cabinet, fostering cooperation among stakeholders, and contributing to policy formulation and implementation. The forum also monitors the implementation of agreements and promotes a shared national socio-economic vision.

By ensuring that the voices of government, business, and labor are heard, the TNF helps create balanced and inclusive economic policies that benefit all sectors of society.

The Labour Act .

The Labour Act [Chapter 28:01] is a comprehensive piece of legislation that outlines the fundamental rights of employees in Zimbabwe.

It ensures social justice and democracy in the workplace by providing a legal framework for collective bargaining, fair labor standards, and the expeditious resolution of disputes.

The Act regulates conditions of employment, including wages, hours of work, and the terms of employment contracts. It also addresses issues such as unfair labor practices, protection against discrimination, and the rights of employees to form and join trade unions.

The Labour Act is essential for maintaining fair and just labor practices across Zimbabwe, aligning with international labor standards and agreements.
